The launch event was attended by 80 industry professionals and met Everoze's objectives

The launch event was hugely successful and met Everoze's objectives

Teal Green was contracted to support the UK's newest renewable energy consultancy, Everoze, to deliver a tailored, well-messaged but relaxed launch event at Jamie's Bar and Restaurant in London, September 2015. Working closely with the Everoze Communications Manager, Karen helped shaped the all-important messaging around the event and delivered key marketing material. The event was hugely successful, despite taking place at a time of critical change within the renewable energy industry. Attended by around 80 industry professionals, including a good number of industry leaders, it delivered the desired outcome for the Everoze partners.
"Karen has provided us with excellent communications support during our start-up phase. She has delivered invaluable advice in planning our launch, helped us to create a compelling narrative and handled the PR side of things magnificently. Great attention to detail and sector-knowledge." Joe Phillips, Founding Partner at Everoze Partners Limited

Teal Green completes suite of information sheets for onshore wind projects

Posted by Karen Boud in Uncategorized | 0 comments

I'm pleased to have recently completed a great job with RWE Innogy UK, writing and project managing the design of a suite of information sheets covering facts about the company and summaries of a selection of their most visited wind farm sites. It was challenging to keep each sheet to just two sides of A4 when there is such a lot to say about each project and so many fabulous images to accompany each site but, with some succinct and careful writing, Teal Green delivered! An enjoyable job working with the professional and knowledgeable staff at RWE Innogy UK.

“It’s been great working with Karen on our new suite of onshore wind farm site visitor packs. We think they’ll be a real hit with guests to our wind farms. The packs are informative and well designed and we look forward to using them.” Rebecca Somers, Public Relations Manager, RWE Innogy UK Ltd

One of the project fact sheets was for Little Cheyne Court Wind Farm. one of the largest wind farms in the south of England.

RUK Sailing Regatta 2016 – entries are open!

Posted by Karen Boud in Uncategorized | 0 comments

Great to see the RUK Sailing Regatta will run again in 2016! I set up the first regatta over 10 years ago and managed the event for a decade. It is an amazing networking and team building event for the renewables industry attracting most of the big names to participate with their own entry or as guests on boats chartered by clients or suppliers. A hugely successful event and not one to miss if you are in the renewables sector!   Conference Banner

Teal Green has been working with the Wokingham Bikeathon committee to help promote the event and secure media coverage before and after the big day! The event attracted the attention of around 850 cyclists, who gathered in Wokingham town centre on Sunday 21 June 2015 to take on either the 15 or 35 mile challenge.

Organiser Stan Hetherington said, “Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 8th Wokingham Bikeathon! It was such a pleasure to welcome all our riders to the event and to see them home safely. Thank you also to Wokingham residents for your patience and support for this event which raises thousands of pounds for a variety charities each year. I’d also like to recognise and thank the generous local businesses and organisations that supported us on the day – without all of you this amazing event just couldn’t happen.”

The day was wonderfully recorded by an intrepid team of photographers from the Wokingham and East Berks Photography Club who did a fabulous job capturing riders at various locations around the course. You can see their pictures and lots of other images from the day via the Wokingham Bikeathon Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wokingham-Bikeathon/118240064926548

Quotes:

"Well done to all of you for making Wokingham Bikeathon 2013 the huge success that it was."

"Great Event - Kudos to all involved in organising."

"Thanks for organising it. It was amazing."

"A great event..."

Teal Green facilitated wind farm site visit on Global Wind Day

Posted by Karen Boud in Uncategorized | 0 comments

Teal Green managed the on site logistics for a group of 33 guests visiting an onshore wind farm on Global Wind Day 2015 on behalf of the wind farm operating company. The sun shone and the wind blew making it the perfect day to show people the project and give them first hand experience of standing directly below the turbines while they were generating clean, home-grown electricity for homes and businesses. Lots of questions answered and lots of happy people, guests and staff alike!

Teal Green arranges fabulous reunion for wind industry professionals

Posted by Karen Boud in Uncategorized | 0 comments

Over 60 ex-employees of pioneering renewable energy firm National Wind Power, gathered together at unique function in Reading in June 2015 to reminisce and network. Many attendees had not seen each other since the company changed its name to npower renewables and relocated from Bourne End to Reading 11 years ago. Teal Green was behind the idea and delivered the event that brought a large number of the group back together to enjoy past stories and revive old connections, both personal and business. Quotes:

"Thank you so much for organising the gathering Karen (and Teal Green), as always the occasion was managed with great skill and calm to produce a polished and fun event!"

"Thanks a ton for organising – a thoroughly enjoyable night and catch-up."

"Very many thanks for organising a memorable night in Reading on Saturday... Very well done. A good location as well which always helps."

"Thank you Karen for arranging such a wonderful evening."
