We are delighted to be working with RWE Innogy UK to support their public consultation events and communications for the Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Electrical System. Triton Knoll is a proposed offshore wind farm located off the east coast of England, approximately 20 miles off the coast of Lincolnshire and 28 miles from the coast of North Norfolk.
A great team to work with and a fantastic project!
More information about the proposal can be viewed on RWE Innogy UK’s website: http://www.rwe.com/web/cms/en/413680/rwe-innogy/sites/wind-offshore/developing-sites/triton-knoll/about-triton-knoll/
This image is actually of RWE Innogy’s operating North Hoyle Offshore Wind Farm, the UK’s first major offshore wind farm. Karen Boud coordinated the launch of the North Hoyle project in North Wales which was also simultaneously launched in London. The events incorporated a video message from the Prime Minister, live speeches from the Energy Minister and the Vale of Clwyd MP, a Blue Peter competition and artwork from local school children. They were hugely successful, gaining extensive, positive media interest for offshore wind.
They also raised awareness and generated customers for an innovative green energy tariff called Juice that was linked to North Hoyle and offered by npower in partnership with Greenpeace.
A complex launch event with an offshore focus, multiple messages and numerous stakeholders involved!
